NORTH Somerset residents can expect to see over 100 decorated tractors drive through local towns next week.

The George's Charity Tractor run will take place on December 27, the proceeds of which will be donated to St Peter's Hospice.

Donations can be made via the Just Giving page.

Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from Visit Weston-super-Mare said: "If you are in and around Weston-super-Mare on December 27, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for George's Charity Tractor run, which will see more than 100 decorated tractors driving in a spectacular convoy to raise money for the St Peter's Hospice. 

"The parade will be starting outside Michael Burdge Ltd, along Arnolds Way, Yatton, at 11:30am and is expected to arrive at Weston seafront at around 1pm - 1.30pm before making its way to Puxton Park for the finish.

"Please be aware the timings are estimated because the tractors will be following a route taking in:
- Claverham;
- Cleeve;
- Congresbury;
- Brinsea; 
- Sandford;
- Winscombe; 
- Banwell; 
- Locking; 
- Haywood village; 
- Winterstoke road; 
- Weston Hospital; 
- Weston sea front; 
- Knightstone Road;
- Boulevard;
- Worle;
- Puxton Park."
