A FUNDRAISING bed pull in aid of St Peter’s Hospice was launched in Clevedon.
The 45 in 24 challenge saw a team of family members from Bristol furniture retailer, Park Furnishers, pull a bed for 45 miles from The Hawthorns retirement complex in Clevedon and into and around Bristol in 24 hours.
The event was held in memory of Leonard Coller, the founder of Park Furnishers who was a resident at The Hawthorns until he recently died.
Leonard’s family, including Simon, Hannah and Jonathan Coller (pictured), aim to raise 45,000 for St Peter’s Hospice as part of the company’s 45th anniversary.
While in Clevedon, The Hawthorns manager Goldie Tripney handed over a cheque for 1,000.
