SmithCorp Charitable Trust will be the headline sponsor of Children’s Hospice South West's (CHSW) annual fundraiser, Santas on the Run - North Somerset.

The event, taking place at the heart of the children's hospice at Charlton Farm on December 3, typically attracts droves of festive participants and collects thousands for CHSW.

The sponsorship from SmithCorp Charitable Trust ensures even more raised funds can directly support the hospice’s families.

SmithCorp established its charitable trust in 2009 to extend its employees' charitable efforts, aiming to enhance lives, opportunities, and facilities for those in need.

Since then, it has organised 11 overseas trips to challenging locations, deploying 88 individuals to partake in community building projects.

The trust has been a consistent benefactor of CHSW, making annual donations to assist local children and their families.

SmithCorp's contribution this year allows participants to traverse a 2km route around Charlton Farm's scenic vistas in their festive attires.

The trust's backing means more money raised will directly serve the needs of families at the local hospice, rather than being spent on event costs.

Participants of all ages are welcomed to walk, jog, or run, embodying the spirit of the season.
