Clevedon Family Church’s LIFt Youth Club took youngsters on a stellar journey during the recent October half term.

Club-goers delighted in a 'Wonders of the Galaxy' themed event, with South West-based Space Detectives' Jo leading the exploratory charge.

The Space Detectives are a local education business with an aim to inspire children in all things space, science and exploration.

They run a series of hands-on workshops and Virtual Reality Sessions in schools and community events.

With virtual reality, games like Saturn Hoops and Move the Meteor, and craft activities, the children were engrossed in learning about the universe.

The event also utilised VR headsets, allowing children "to walk among the stars".

The church’s holiday clubs consistently strive to inspire children to learn in a fun way, with future LIFt event details available on its Facebook page.
