SALCOMBE Gin has created a RNLI beverage to help support the work of the lifesaving charity.

10 per cent of the net price of the Four Seas gin will be donated to the RNLI charity, which has a branch in Portishead.

In addition, 1 per cent will be donated to the Marine Conservation Society to help protect our waters and the creatures that call it home.

Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from the RNLI Portishead said: "Thanks to Salcombe Gin for supporting our lifesaving charity with creating a lovely RNLI Gin. A donation from each bottle sold will go towards the RNLI and help us to #SaveLivesAtSea."

A spokesperson from Salcombe Gin added: "The ocean is the inspiration for everything we do so in addition to donating 10% of net price to the RNLI, we also donate 1% to the Marine Conservation Society to ensure that every bottle sold makes our oceans healthier."
