PARKPLAY is coming to Clevedon next week.

Residents of all ages can get involved in Clevedon's first ParkPlay event on Saturday, November 4, from 10.30am at Cherry Avenue Playground.

This will be the fourth ParkPlay to launch in North Somerset.

The aim of the day is to bring the local community together for a series of informal games and activities for 90 minutes in open and green spaces.

The event is organised by North Somerset Council's public health team, ParkPlay and local play leaders.

Cllr Jenna Ho Marris, the council’s executive member for public health, said: “ParkPlay is all about building happier, healthier communities through the life-changing power of play.

"It’s active and inclusive, so everyone’s welcome including people of all ages and abilities. These will be informal, unstructured sessions with no end goal apart from enjoyment! So, if you’re local to Clevedon please come along, make friends, and have fun.”

A ParkPlay flag will be put up to help attendees find the correct location.

You can register your place on the ParkPlay website.

Please note that there is no dedicated parking for this event. Even so, there is on-street parking nearby.
