A MAN was hospitalised yesterday (Sunday, October 22) after a multi-vehicle collision took place in Worle.
Both police and ambulance services attended the scene of the incident on the Queensway at 10:55am.
Four vehicles were involved in the collision, and one man was taken to hospital with injuries.
A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "We were called at around 10.55am yesterday (Sunday 22 October) to Queensway, in Worle, following a report of a four-vehicle collision.
"One man was taken to hospital, his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life changing."
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) added: “We were called at 10:42hrs on Sunday 22 October to an incident on Queensway Road, Worle.
"We sent a double-crewed land ambulance and conveyed one patient by land ambulance to Weston General Hospital.”
Earlier this month, a tractor trailer overturned on the Ebdon Road roundabout.
