CLEVEDON'S Marine Lake is due to close next week for its "biannual clean-up."
The popular destination, which can be found on Old Church Road, will be closed for one week from next Friday (October 20).
The clean-up works will also include mud removal.
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from Clevedon Marine Lake said: "Please be aware, the lake will be drained for its biannual clean-up and mud removal commencing at 14:00 on Friday, October 20.
"It will be closed for one week. Apologies for any inconvenience."
According to the lake's dedicated website, the lake gets filled with water from the Bristol Channel every spring tide. It is popular amongst residents and visitors alike, who use it for swimming and playing.
It is also a great spot for geography trips, boating and water sport experiences.
