LOCALS from Weston-super-Mare and Yatton are this week being given extra opportunities to have their say on the council's plans for north Somerset.

North Somerset Council have added two extra dates to their corporate planning sessions, due to success from the first two meetings in Weston and Nailsea.

The new dates and locations are as follows:

  • Monday October 2, Yatton – Hangstones Pavilion, 6pm onwards

  • Wednesday 4 October, Weston-super-Mare – Town Hall, 6pm onwards

The sessions will provide north Somerset residents with the chance to speak with council members about their four year plan for the area, as well as the budget challenges faced.

Councillor Bell said: "If you can, I'd encourage you to come along and chat to us so we understand what's important to you."

Booking is not necessary to attend any of the sessions.

Paper copies of the council's engagement survey will be available to fill out by those who want to - an online version of the survey is also available on the North Somerset Council website.
