CLEVEDON Marine Lake has undergone a major clean-up.
Overlapping tides often leaves the lake littered with piles of seaweed and driftwood.
Visiting lake users can also leave litter at the site, which poses a danger to the local wildlife that call the lake home.
Posting on Facebook, a spokesperson from the Clevedon Marine Lake team said: "The main lake had been cleared of seaweed (and plastic) earlier in the week but there was unfinished business at the boating lake.
"Enter a few of our hard working volunteers and all is now clean and tidy again. Well done and thank you team."
The lake has also received a positive water quality result following a pollution alert.
The spokesperson said: "A water sample taken on Monday, August 7, has come back classed as excellent under Coastal and Transitional water in The Bathing Water Regulations 2013."
