TWO local choirs are joining forces this October.
Trinity Singers and Costanzi Consort will be performing at All Saints' Church in Weston on October 14, 2023.
The performance, ranging from the devotional polyphony of William Byrd (1539-1623) to the sumptuous sound-world of Ralph Vaughan Williams (1872-1958), will be conducted by musical directors Andrew Tyrrell and Peter Leech.
The two choirs will be accompanied by the strings of Lochrian Ensemble with soloists Zoe Maitland as soprano, Peter Leech as tenor, and Claire Alsop on organ and piano.
The programme will include Vaughan Williams' Serenade to Music and O clap your hands, performed by the combined choirs, and other pieces by English composers performed by each individual choir.
The concert will begin at 7.30pm. If you wish to purchase tickets, you can do so through the choirs' websites.
