A SINGER from Portishead will be performing at The Playhouse as part of the 80s Live tour.
Karin Latham, a former pupil at Gordano School and Bristol School of Performing Arts, will be performing at the Weston-based theatre on August 26.
Alongside her band, Electric Dreams, Karin will be singing classic hits from the likes of Wham!, The Weather Girls, The Human League and more.
The show's description reads: "You’ve made it through the wilderness, somehow, you’ve made it through and now we’re never gonna give you up!
"Get ready as we bring you the biggest 80s party show to tour the UK - 80s Live!
"We will make you feel shiny and new as we travel back in time to one of the most iconic eras of music for the night out you have been dreaming of."
The show, produced by Carlisle company Explosive Productions, has proved so popular that it recently made its West End debut at The Adelphi Theatre.
