Mason will now be bringing his wealth of experience to 145 square miles across Weston, Portishead, Clevedon, Nailsea, and other surrounding areas.

The North Somerset team also have plans to expand into providing at home care for children in the area.

Masen Naidoo, managing director at Bluebird Care North Somerset, said:
"We started this journey with a vision to make a genuine difference in people's lives.

"Our experience with Bluebird Care Mendip has been incredibly rewarding, and we are humbled by the trust our community has placed in us.

"As we take on the responsibility of serving the residents of North Somerset, we are excited to continue our commitment to excellence and expand our services to meet the diverse needs of our community.

"We are also excited by the prospect of bringing our experience of compassionate, quality care to local people at any life stage as we explore our options for children’s service delivery."

The Bluebird Care North Somerset website reads: "We specialise in working with customers and their families who require care in their own homes. We offer a unique service of personalised care options from check-in visits to full live-in support.

"We believe that care matters and we are committed to providing the highest quality home care so that our customers can remain in their own homes.

"Today we have grown to be the market leader across the UK. Our commitment to delivering the services you want, how you want them, in the comfort of your own home is stronger now than ever.

"What makes our homecare services different? Simply, that we put you, the customer first. Our aim is to provide the standard of care that we would want for our own families. This means valuing the unique qualities of each customer and seeing the whole person, not just a list of care needs."
