A SPICE Girl tribute band will transport residents back in time at Cadbury House this September.

On Friday, September 22, fans of Sporty, Scary, Ginger and Baby will be able to dance the night away to nostalgic 90s music.

Complete with a two-course meal and after show disco, the event acts as the perfect excuse to dig out your platform sneakers.

The tribute group will be performing well-known hits such as Wannabe, Spice Up Your Life, 2 Become 1 and If You Wanna Be My Lover.

Matilda Burgess, sales manager at Cadbury House, said: “The Spice Girls are one of the most iconic groups of the 90s and early 2000s. They led the teen pop resurgence of the 1990s, were a major part of the Cool Britannia era and became pop culture icons of the decade becoming the best-selling girl group of all time.

“And who can forget Gerri Halliwell’s Union Jack dress at the Brit Awards!

“Our tribute night is going to be full of dance and classic Spice Girl hits and we’re encouraging all those who come along to dress up and party.

“Tickets are limited so we’re recommending anyone interested in coming along, to reserve their place as soon as possible.”

The hotel's website reads: "Get ready to spice up your night with the ultimate tribute to the Spice Girls! Join us as we celebrate the legendary girl group and all their hit songs, including a two-course meal, entertainment and disco.
