TWO artists will be holding a joint exhibition this week.
The multimedia exhibition, which is called 'Two of a Kind', will be starting from Friday, April 21 and running until May 18.
Residents can head on down to the Old Town Quarry to see Tina Gordon and Linda Wilbur's artwork.
Tina moved to the West Country from Essex over 30 years ago after studying art and ceramics in Essex and running a small studio pottery business for several years in Southend.
A semi-abstract landscape painter, Tina is inspired by the shapes, patterns, colours and textures of landscapes, often found working in her garden studio in Weston.
Tina has returned to ceramics after many years, and is now enjoying getting to grips with clay one evening a week at the Quarry.
This is Tina's first exhibition since lockdown. In the past she has been involved in exhibitions in Essex, Bristol and North Somerset.
Before retiring she taught art at the Bristol Folk House for 15 years and was then manager there for 10 years.
Linda moved to North Somerset from Wiltshire in 2007 to open and run boarding kennels. She recently retired, allowing her to develop her art and skill.
Linda is a traiditonal painter and paints En Plein Air or in her art studio in Congresbury.
Linda was introduced to ceramics by attending evening classes, and now enjoys handbuilding and throwing on the wheel.
The two artists met at the Quarry, where they both do ceramics a day a week. Linda also works in stained glass in an evening class.
Entry to the exhibition is free, meaning that everyone who wants to can attend. The Quarry is open Wednesday until Saturday 10am until 4pm.
