BARRATT Bristol apprentice, Owen Goodland, is helping the housebuilder celebrate National Apprentice Week.
The week is running from February 6. This year's theme is Skills for Life, which aims to show how apprenticeship programmes can give people the skills they need to have successful careers.
Owen, who is currently working at the Parish Brook development in Nailsea, is one of the business' top ten trade trainees.
He combines on-site work as a trainee carpenter with college work that teaches him his Level 2 Carpentry skills.
Owen said: “What I am enjoying most from my apprenticeship is getting my hands dirty and working with the team on-site who are there to support me when I need it."
Andrea Pilgrim, sales director at Barratt Homes Bristol, said: “We are committed to continue supporting the future generations of tradespeople and the future leaders of the construction industry.”
