CONGRESBURY Community Cafe and Debbie Fortune Estate Agents have recently donated £1,000 to St Andrews Primary school as part of its Supporting the Community Initiative.
Ian Sheppard, from the Community Cafe, says:“With the current difficulties, we approached the school to see whether we could support their work with a donation.
"With the help of Lisa, Neil and the Debbie Fortune Estates Agents’ team and the support of our volunteers and customers, we were able to raise £800 but decided to increase the donation to £1,000.”
Headteacher of St Andrews Primary School, Fran Martin, said "This donation will be crucial in supporting the work we undertake to ensure our school community is able to access provisions and assistance within the current difficult times.”
Lisa Baines, managing director of Debbie Fortune estate agents, added: “The Community Café and its dedicated volunteers make us so proud."
