AN artist from Pill will have her artwork displayed outside of the Channel 4 building.
Ann Cole, who grew up in North Somerset, has seen great interest in her artwork.
Some of her work has been featured in Grayson Perry's Art Club, a television series which encourages people to express their creativity through art.
Last year, over 17,000 people submitted their artwork to Grayson and Philippa Perry, with more encouraged to showcase their work in this year's submissions.
In previous years, artwork submitted by the public has been put on exhibition in the well-known Bristol Museum and Art Gallery, alongside work from Grayson Perry himself.
Various different themes are explored throughout the programme.
Ann says: "Grayson Perry's Art Show featured a week of the future, so I painted a picture of the future and sent it in.
"He showed it on his programme and I thought that was the end of it, but I have since had emails asking if it can be displayed outside of the Channel 4 building."
The building, which is based in London, is located near Westminister and sees hundreds of passerbys, all of which will have a direct view of Ann's celebrated painting.
Ann continues: "They have told me the date that it's starting, which is February 6th. By the end of that week it should all be up."
This isn't the first time that Ann's art has been sought after.
She says: "In Pill, I've given pictures to various charities down there, like the Rag, the Owls and the Rigatta.
"They hold a yearly Rag down Pill, I think it's 100 year's old this year. I gave them a picture of the Rag, which they raffled."
The Rag is a family-fun day hosted in Pill to raise money for charity. The event is made up of pet shows, costume parties, parades and more.
Ann continues: "The Owls, which are like Victorian men singing carols at Christmas, received a picture from me, which they auctioned.
"They made £300 for their charity."
If you are an artist eager to get your work out there, why not make your own submission to Grayson Perry's art show. You can visit the Grayson Art Club website for more information.
