A family from North Somerset have called on for more people to donate to the Children’s Hospice Southwest (CHSW) by inviting people to come by and hang a bauble on their wisteria tree.

This will be the third successive year the Grimstead family, based in Clevedon, have been raising funds through their Big Bauble Hang.

Altogether £3,370,30 has been raised so far with £1646.53 donated last year and the year before that saw £1,723.77 contributed.

And the Grimsteads have targeted more this year.

“So, with your help we’d love to get that total even bigger for them this year. Baubles will be out for the month of December, from early morning and taken in late,” Lucy Grimstead said.

“A QR code will also be in place for donating. Simply open your camera app on your phone and it will take you directly to the JustGiving page.”

The Grimsteads address is 3 Seavale Road, Clevedon, BS21 7QB, and are a short stroll from Hill Rd and Alexander Gardens.
