INTERNET access is to be upgraded across some areas of North Somerset in £22million works later this month. 

Broadband provider Truespeed will roll out full fibre broadband and add 12 new areas to its ultrafast network across the south west.

These areas include Uphill, Banwell and Sandford.

Truespeed say the works will help deliver a 'guaranteed, symmetrical upload and download speeds' for customers.

Works will continue throughout next year.
