A COMMERCIAL garage in Burnham was left damaged by fire after rubbish outside set alight.
The incident happened at about 3.30pm yesterday (Saturday) in Love Lane and two fire engines from Burnham and one from Bridgwater were sent to the scene.
When they arrived, crews found a rubbish fire outside of the garage which had also affected the building itself. They were able to extinguish the flames swiftly, limiting the damage to about five per cent of the building.
The cause of the fire was accidental.
