A MOTORCYCLIST died on Saturday after crashing while riding along the A38 near Bristol Airport.
The incident happened in Bridgwater Road, near the junction with Downswide Road, at about 9.20am when the victim’s bike is thought to have struck a pavement and he was thrown from the vehicle.
The 33-year-old from the Bristol area, who has not yet been formally identified, died as a result of his injuries.
The road was closed for about two hours.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
