THE Portishead-based Oxfam online second-hand shop will hold its second ever ‘swishing’ party next month.
The hub, which is operated out of a warehouse in Old Mill Road, has many volunteers who sift through thousands of donated items ready for them to be sold online.
Now, they are looking for people who have unwanted clothes that could be swapped for an item belonging to someone else, a practice known as swishing.
On February 12 at the Create Centre in Smeaton Road, Bristol, a swishing party will be held for anyone wanting to swap some clothes.
From 11am, items can be dropped off in exchange for tokens, which can then be traded in for items from 12noon onwards.
