AN AIR ambulance landed in Portishead this morning (Mon) following reports of a baby having breathing difficulties.
Great Western Ambulance Service received an emergency call at 9.20am and a rapid response vehicle, regular ambulance and an air ambulance were sent out due to the serious nature of the call.
When the doctors and paramedics arrived at the house in Avon Way it was found that the baby boy was suffering from symptoms similar to bronchitis.
He was taken to the Bristol Royal Hospital for Children by land ambulance as a precaution.
