A NORTH Somerset charity that supports people with learning difficulties has launched a drive to recruit more volunteers and collect more cash.
About 50 students of Brandon Trust will be going door-to-door in Clevedon, Nailsea and Portishead to tell people about the community services and projects the charity runs.
Staff and volunteers are keen to boost the amount being fund-raised so it can carry on rolling out a support programme across the district despite the threat of Government cuts.
The charity is also hoping to recruit 500 new supporters as part of the drive.
