PORTISHEAD’S Annual Town Meeting next week, will provide a platform for residents to raise issues and air any questions or concerns they may have about the town.
The meeting on May 5 at the Folk Hall in High Street is a meeting for the people of Portishead to speak, without giving any prior notice, in the presence of town councillors about matters they would like to see given attention.
The Town Council has in the past been criticised for failing to publicise the meeting sufficiently but posters have been put up on notice boards throughout the town to notify the public of the meeting which starts at 7.30pm.
It will be followed by the Annual Town Council meeting.
