A MAN was punched to the ground during a robbery in Portishead on Sunday.
At about 11pm on July 10, the 18-year-old was walking along Nore Road when a man approached him from behind, shouting abuse.
The offender then swung two punches, knocking the man to the ground. He then took money from the victim’s pockets and ran off.
The offender has been described as white, in his mid-20s, about 5ft 9-10ins tall with bobbed, mousy brown hair in line with his jaw. He was wearing dark jogging trousers and a dark hooded top.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the incident and ask anyone with information to call Portishead police on 0845 456 7000 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
