Volunteers tidy up Backwell Playing Fields and paint the youth buildings
THE play equipment and furniture at Backwell Playing fields will soon be gleaming thanks to volunteers who have been giving them a lick of paint.
Dedicated volunteers have been painting, weeding, litter-picking and raking up leaves to clean up the beauty spot for villagers and visitors.
Eight people from the Community Payback Scheme have also been painting the three youth buildings at the site.
Backwell Playing Fields is a charity and the committee relies on volunteers to help maintain grounds and equipment for the community.
