A NEW sustainable travel scheme aimed at employers has been started by North Somerset Council.
The authority could make grants available to businesses and those running visitor attractions across the area which are promoting greener travel.
The idea is to cut down on single person car use on journeys to and from workplaces or visitor attractions.
Eligible schemes could include cycling facilities, car pooling, public transport promotion schemes and improved walking and cycling links. To find out more go to www.innorthsomerset.co.uk or call 01934 426404.
