A PORTBURY teenager has been rewarded a prestigious accolade for her acting skills.
Olivia Lanham performed three scenes as part of her gold medal solo acting exam at the London Acadamy of Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA).
The 17-year-old had to demonstrate her performing versatility to gain the medal, which is LAMDA’s highest non-teaching qualification and for which she was awarded a distinction.
It is also accredited, which means Olivia, who is a student of Kingsley Speech and Drama in Clevedon, has also earned valuable points should she apply for university.
