HUNDREDS of daffodils will be brightening up Nailsea next spring thanks to the Nailsea Lions club.
For the past few years, members of the Lions have planted bulbs along the roadside verges and in open spaces to provide splashes of colour throughout the town in March and April.
This year 250 bulbs have been planted along Mizzymead Road near the junction with Queen’s Road. Lions president Pam Hunt said: “In the spring the flowers we have planted look really nice, and each year gets better as the bulbs multiply.
“The Lions are really proud to be able improve the appearance of our town.”
