Thousands of people headed to Clevedon’s seafront at the weekend to take part in this year’s tides festival celebrations.

An estimated 10,000 visitors enjoyed entertainment that stretched from Marine Lake and Salthouse Fields to Clevedon Pier including live music, games and stalls.

Highlights of the weekend included a dazzling fireworks display on Saturday night as well as the always popular raft race and splash mob.

The music proved as appealing as ever with a wide variety of acts performing on two stages throughout the festival which raised money for MARLENS, the charity that maintains the lake.

North Somerset Birds of Prey and Swindon Reptiles were also on hand with some of their favourite animals while activities including zorbing and sailing took place on the lake.
