Anyone watching BBC television programmes over the past few days will have noticed Clevedon being thrust into the limelight.
Clevedon Pier, plus brave members of Clevedon Swimming Club, appears in one of the BBC’s new idents, which appear while a voice-over introduces the next show.
The BBC said British photographer Martin Parr was commissioned with a brief to ‘capture an evolving portrait of modern Britain in all its diversity’.
The other new idents include a zumba class in Bristol and disabled rugby players.
