A former Coronation Street actor will star in a new musical heading to Bristol this February.

The Commitments musical, fresh from its West End run, is sure to have you singing along to some of the very best soul songs.

There is a chance you could be seeing the show for free, with the Times’ competition.

Kevin Kennedy – best known for his role as Curly Watts in ITV’s Coronation Street – leads the way in a show which follows the story of how a host of wannabes are formed into successful band The Commitments.

It promises to be a fantastic show full of hugely entertaining music, suiting people of all ages.

The Commitments will be at The Bristol Hippodrome, in St Augustines Parade, from February 20-25.

Performances will start at 7.30pm each night and there will be 2.30pm matinees on both February 22 and 25.

The Times has teamed up with The Bristol Hippodrome to offer two lucky readers a pair of tickets to the show on February 21.
