A ROAD in Nailsea has reopened after a man was found mysteriously injured outside of a pub.

The police closed Silver Street between the White Lion pub and Fosse Way after a man in his 30s was reported as injured in the early hours of this morning (Tuesday, July 8).

At the moment, it is unclear what happened to cause the injury.

Posting on Twitter, a spokesperson from Avon and Somerset Police North Somerset team said: "Silver St #Nailsea has reopened following an incident in the early hours today, Tuesday, August 8.

"A man has been admitted for treatment to an injury which is not currently believed to be life-threatening or life-changing. If you have any info please call 101 ref 5223190309."

Anyone who may have witnessed what happened or may have doorbell or dash-cam footage are urged to get in contact with the police.
