POLICE were called to reports of a sudden death in a North Somerset town yesterday afternoon (Monday, July 10).

An Avon and Somerset Police spokesperson confirmed that officers attended a home in Nailsea.

But police do no believe the death to have been suspicious.

They are now preparing a report ahead of sending a file to the coroner, who will decided whether or not to hold an inquest into the death.

A spokesperson for Avon and Somerset Police said: "Officers attended a sudden death at a property in the Greenfield Crescent area of Nailsea yesterday afternoon (Monday 10 July).

"The death is not believed to be suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
