A long-awaited sequel to one of the biggest sci-fi movies of all time will be screened at the Curzon this week.
Set 30 years after the first film, Blade Runner 2049 (15) sees LAPD Officer K (Ryan Gosling) discover a hidden secret which could cause chaos for the remnants of society.
In order to avert this disaster, K must track down Rick Deckard (Harrison Ford), a former LAPD blade runner who has been missing for decades.
Blade Runner 2049 will be screened at the Curzon on Friday and will run until October 17.
Children are in for a treat at the weekend as The LEGO Ninjago Movie gets set to Spinjitzu into action.
As the battle for Ninjago City heats up young master builder Lloyd (Dave Franco), also known as the Green Ninja, and his buddies are called upon to help.
Led by Master Wu (Jackie Chan) the crew must battle Garmadon – a powerful warlord who, slightly awkwardly, is also Lloyd’s dad.
Curzon Kids will also treat youngsters to a screening of Disney’s Moana (PG) on Saturday.
The family-friendly film sees a brave teenager set off on a treacherous journey to save her people.
Further opportunities to see Victoria And Abdul (PG) are available today (Wednesday) and tomorrow.
The Curzon is also taking part in World Mental Health Day on Tuesday when Silver Linings Playbook (15) will be screened before a question and answer session with professionals in the field.
