A man is forced to change after being haunted by his past in this week’s main Curzon film.
The Sense Of An Ending (15) sees business owner Tony Webster (Jim Broadbent) reunite with his first love Veronica Ford (Charlotte Rampling) after the discovery of a letter and diary past force him to relive events from his past.
The Sense Of An Ending will be screened on Tuesday and again on May 25.
Their Finest (12A), the story of a small band of filmmakers during World War Two, will be shown today (Wednesday) and tomorrow while a screening of Mulholland Drive (15) will also be held today.
Music will take centre stage at the weekend as the Curzon Music Festival, in partnership with Songs From The Shed, returns for its second outing following last year’s hugely successful inaugural event.
Gary Stringer Band will lead the lineup on Saturday with other acts including Street Doors, Worry Dolls, Samuel Jack and Black Feathers also performing throughout the day.
Show Of Hands will bring the curtain down on the event, but not before artists such as Rachel Ries, Low Chimes and Pete Williams have got the audience up and dancing.
The venue will also offer a wide selection of local and global street food, a cocktail bar and a variety of ales and ciders.
