PUBLISHED: 12:00 06 December 2017
The latest galaxy-spanning epic in the Star Wars saga is heading to the Curzon, and we have two tickets to see it up for grabs.
The Last Jedi (12A) is the eigth in the series and follows on from 2015’s record-breaking The Force Awakens.
Luke Skywalker’s (Mark Hamill) peaceful existence is disturbed when young hopeful Rey (Daisy Ridley) arrives to undertake Jedi training and channel her powers.
Battles are also breaking out across the galaxy as the fierce conflict between the Resistance and First Order reaches breaking point.
The film will also feature some of Carrie Fisher’s final scenes, after the actress famous for playing the iconic Princess Leia died shortly after filming.
The Last Jedi will be screened on December 13 and will run at various times until January 2.
Festive hilarity will be the order of the day on Friday and Saturday when A Bad Moms Christmas (15) is screened.
Starring the likes of Mila Kunis, Susan Sarandon and Kristen Bell, the film is an outrageous adventure as the rebellious parents fight against traditional Christmas expectations while hosting their own mothers.
Two of the most successful films of the year will also be shown this week in the shape of Murder On The Orient Express (12A) and Paddington 2 (PG).
On Sunday a live broadcast of the Royal Ballet’s The Nutcracker will be shown before a screening of British political comedy The Party (15).
