A classic Christmas show will be performed in Clevedon this month, and the Times has tickets up for grabs to see it.
The Nutcracker – A Family Show will be performed at Theatre Shop on December 21 and 22.
North Somerset theatre and music companies Wild Words and The Lochrian String Quartet Ensemble have teamed up with storyteller Michael Loader and a young dancer to bring this enchanting tale to life.
The show follows Clara, a young girl who is given a nutcracker toy for Christmas.
The toy is broken during a family fight, but is quickly put back together again.
Clara decides to check on her gift during the night but as the clock striks midnight her toys come to life and force her into the middle of a fierce battle between soldiers and the powerful Mouse King.
When it becomes clear the nutcracker is about to be beaten, Clara steps in to save him to break an old curse and transform him into a young man.
Together the pair must travel to strange and distant lands to make their way through the Land Of Snow and Kingdom Of Sweets, meeting weird and wonderful friends.
The Nutcracker – A Family Show will be performed at 3.30pm on December 21 and 22.
There will also be a performance at 11am on December 22.
