WIN tickets to see Living Spit’s Giants Of Science at Theatre Shop

A popular comedy duo return with a new show this month, and the Times has tickets to be won.
Living Spit will perform Giants Of Science at Theatre Shop in Queens Square, Clevedon, at 7.30pm from September 24-29.
The show will see members Howard Coggins and Stu Mcloughlin explore the lives of some of history’s greatest scientific minds.
The duo freely admit they are pretty clueless when it comes to the subject despite help from the likes of Albert Einstein, Galileo, Isaac Newton and Charles Darwin.
They have been enlisted to give a lecture on the subject so must find a way of muddling through while protecting ‘most’ of their dignity.
A Theatre Orchard spokesman said: “Still, they’re determined, like a pair of atoms missing a couple of electrons, to stay positive. With jarring jokes, pitiful puppetry and the silliest of scientific songs, you can expect this raucous romp through the hilarious history of scientific stupidity to be, well, if nothing else thoroughly entertaining.”
Giants Of Science is the 13th show created by Living Spit since Coggins and Mcloughlin met at the Bristol Old Vic in 1997.
Previous productions have included The Fabulous Bacon Brothers and A Christmas Carol.
Theatre Orchard and the Times have teamed up once again to offer one lucky reader a pair of tickets to see Giants Of Science on September 24.
Tickets, priced £12, are available online or by calling 03336 663366.
