EastEnders’ actress Samantha Womack and Coronation Street star Les Dennis are appearing in The Addams Family in Bath this week.

The musical comedy sees daughter Wednesday Addams reveal a shocking secret – she has fallen in love with a smart young man from a respectable family.

In the show, Dad Gomez finds out, but tries to keep wife Morticia in the dark.

The musical comes from the writers of the award-winning Jersey Boys, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa.

Womack and Dennis will be joined by two West End actors, Carrie Hope Fletcher and Cameron Blakely, best known for roles in Les Misérables.

The Addams Family will run at the Theatre Royal Bath until Saturday, with shows at 2.30pm and 7.30pm today (Wednesday) and 8pm tomorrow (Thursday). There will also be performances at 5pm and 8.30pm on Friday and 2.30pm and 8pm on Saturday.

Tickets, priced £23-39, are available from or 01225 448844.
