A murder mystery evening will be held in Clevedon next week.

The Clevedon Players’ Sudden Death At Thornbury Manor will be performed at the community centre in Princes Road at 7.30pm on October 26 and 27.

The drama, set in 1954, is presented as a radio play in the opulent Thornbury Manor, home to the Maltravers family.

Most of the play is performed in front of microphones with members also creating their own sound effects.

However some scenes are acted out in the more traditional sense, including one which sees a character murdered.

Audience members, who are invited to dress in period costume, will have the chance to interrogate the actors and discover the guilty party.

Tickets, priced £15, include a two-course meal and are available from Souk in the Triangle or the community centre office.
