Last year folk-legend Ashley Hutchins passed his torch to the band and fans will easily be able to see the group’s fantastic flair for the music genre.

The Albion Band brings together some of the finest young musicians and singers in the UK folk scene including Ashley’s son, Blair Dunlop, as well as Gavin Davenport, Katriona Gilmore, Tom Wright and Tim Yates.

The new line up recaptures the spirit of The Albion Band’s early days, with a rockier approach to traditional folk music.

The band will perform re-written and traditional material as well as Albion Band classics which have been transformed by the new line-up.

The band will perform at the Colston Hall, in Bristol, on April 2 at 8pm. Tickets, priced £18.50, are available from the box office on 0117 9223686.
