Rock ‘n’ roll night in Nailsea

PUBLISHED: 08:17 03 October 2017

A rock ‘n’ roll club will be getting people on their feet in Nailsea.

Rockola is performing at the Scotch Horn Leisure Centre, in Brockway, on October 13.

Fans of jive and bop and music from the late 1950s to early 1960s can dance along to hits from artists including Elvis, the Everly Brothers, the Beach Boys and Cliff Richard.

Rockola plays a wide variety of music and the band will be performing a mix of rock ‘n’ roll classics, swing and ballads for people to dance to.

Several members of the Somerset band are former professional musicians and recording artists and have played alongside big names including The Kinks, the Hollies and the Beach Boys.

If the event proves popular, the band is hoping to set up a regular Rockola Rock ‘n’ Roll Club.

Doors open at 8pm and admission is £8 on the door. For more information call 01275 333102 or visit
