A musical fiesta will be held in Portishead this month.

Penny Brohn’s Night At The Musicals will take place at Somerset Hall and will feature some of the nation’s best-loved tunes.

Local soprano Rachael Cooper and Cheddar Male Choir will perform, while eccentric Bristol poet and musician Martin Kiszko will compere.

Penny Brohn’s Ian Riddell said: “Grab your ticket and take your seat for this wonderful, whistle-stop tour of the 
musicals. Our award-winning troupe of talent will belt out hits including Climb Every Mountain, Tonight and 
I Hate Men.

“So sit back, relax and know that every penny raised will help Penny Brohn continue to reach people facing cancer, before, during and after treatment.”

The show will start at 7.30pm on November 18.
