A night of music will be held to raise money for Clevedon’s Marine Lake tomorrow (Saturday).

The Marine Lake Enthusiasts (MARLENS), a charity which maintains and develops the lake, will present Last Night Of The Proms at Princes Hall in Princes Road.

The concert will begin at 7.30pm and will feature performances by Rachel Cooper, Emily Coombes and Linda Roberts.

A MARLENS spokesman said: “The charity promises a joyous night of communal chanting, foot-stomping and flag-waving in aid of Marine Lake.”

Guests are invited to dress in red, white and blue clothes while a Union Flag will be provided on arrival.

All proceeds will go to MARLENS and the maintenance of the lake.

Tickets, priced £10, are available from the community centre in Princes Road, Gym Beans Café in Alexandra Road and Souk in The Triangle.
