Live jazz music will be performed in Portishead later this week.

Hugget and Liddington’s Chosen Five will be entertaining Speakeasy Jazz Club’s audience on Friday night.

Show organiser Kate Sheridan said: “The Chosen Five are an exceptional band with two of the most popular musicians of the jazz world, leading a tight rhythm section of world class musicians.

“Band leaders Jeremy Hugget and Gethin Liddington have played at all the major jazz festivals in the UK and Europe and the United States.

“On Friday they will bring a varied repertoire that caters to all tastes.

“It is sure to delight and enthral with this sparkling show, laced with lots of humour.”

The show will begin at 8.30pm at Clarence House, in High Street.
