A legendary West Country band, who incredibly topped the UK music charts in the 1970s, are certain to entertain in Bridgwater this weekend.
Somerset stars The Wurzels will perform at Sydenham Barn, in Little Sydenham Farm, tomorrow (Saturday) night at 7pm.
The Wurzels are famous for their cider-infused and funny lyrics which champion everyday rural life in the West Country.
They achieved mainstream success in 1976 with chart-topping single Combine Harvester, which sat at the top of the charts for two weeks.
The band, which brands its music as scrumpy and Western, backed that up with number-three hit I Am A Cider Drinker just weeks later – and The Wurzels have been playing sell-out shows across Somerset ever since.
The Wurzels are renowned for their fantastic live performances which get everyone in attendance singing along.
Tickets, priced £20, are available on 07935 120026.
