Rock band Dashboard Confessional are to perform at SWX in Bristol later in the year.

Quartet Chris Carrabba, Scott Schoenbeck, Armon Jay and Chris Kamrada make up the American band who will bring their first UK tour to venues across the country during November.

The group from Boca Raton in Florida will also perform their alternative, indie and acoustic rock set to audiences in London, Birmingham and Leeds.

The band won the MTV Video Music Award for their song Screaming Infidelities 
in 2002 and were also nominated for a Teen Choice Award for their record Stolen in 2007.

They released their latest album, Crooked Shadows, in February and their song Vindicated featured in the 2004 Spider-Man 2 film.

The concert will take place at the Bristol venue on November 8 which starts at 7pm.
